Our Beliefs

We believe that the process of becoming a follower of Jesus involves salvation, baptism, prayer, ongoing study of the Holy Bible, regular worship, and participation in activities that utilize one’s spiritual gifts for ministry and the essential task of evangelism.

1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Word of the Lord, as seen in the Books of the Bible, to be our foundation of understanding. It is divinely inspired and infallible.

- 2 Timothy 3: 16-17

2. The Eternal Godhead

We believe that there is but one true and living God who eternally co-exist in three forms, The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.

- 2 Corinthians 13: 14

3. The Plan of Salvation

We believe that although we were born sinners, Christ provided the ultimate sacrifice for us, executing the pardon for all who believe in Him.

- John 3:16 & Romans 5:8

4. Salvation Through Grace

We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and all who believe on Christ are saved freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Him.

- Romans 3: 23-24

5. Repentance & Acceptance

We believe that if you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

- Romans 10:6-10 & 1 John 1:9

6. The New
Birth

We believe the change which takes place in the heart and life of a new believer at the point of  conversion is a very real one. The sinner is then born again in a glorious and transforming manner; old things are passed away and all things become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17 & Galatians 2:20

7. Baptism & The Lord’s Supper

We believe baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work. (Matthew 28:19)

We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolical use of the bread and the juice of the vine - known as communion. (1 Corinthians 11:24, 25)

8. The Gifts & Fruit of the Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit bestows gift upon Christians (1 Corinthians 12:8-10) and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit filled life. (Galatians 5;22)

9. Divine
Healing

We believe in the power of Christ's ability to heal both the spirit and body as an answer to the prayer of faith. (James 5:14-16)
